Desde las relaciones establecidas con el medio que lo rodea, el ser humano genera un complejo de identificación y representación que supera la objetividad. En este sentido, este artículo presenta el concepto de semióforo como aporte para el análisis de la acción de la subjetividad a través de signos y símbolos creados y reproducidos en la región Centro-Oeste de Brasil, también conocida como “Planalto Central”, y sus interrelaciones con el territorio.
